Cultural Relevance of Film
Huge movies have a huge sway on the nation, the way they influence people and can portray important messages to a wide audience is an amazing power. I am going to discuss some of my favorite films that have a huge cultural relevance to them.

My first film to discuss is Black Panther. The movie follows an almost all black cast, the film utilizes and celebrates African culture that was one of the highest grossing movies of 2018. Its success challenged industry norms and demonstrated the demand for diverse storytelling. It also sparked a large social media campaign the #WakandaForever hashtag, which symbolizes pride and unity. The film's impact goes beyond the screen, influencing fashion, music, and popular culture.
The next film, To Kill A Mockingbird, is a film that explores racial injustice. It follows lawyer Atticus Finch, defending a black man in a predominantly white town who is on trial for murder. He is being outcasted because of his skin color but Atticus and even his children can see past that. Atticus puts on a lawyering masterclass that proves the man to be not guilty and frees him from underneath the stereotypes and hate from the rest of the town.
