One of my favorite shots in film is from the movie Rocky. The movie follows the boxer Rocky Balboa who I believe to be the greatest sports movie underdog of all time. I chose this shot because it portrays exactly what he is going through. By random luck he was chosen to fight the heavyweight champion, Apollo Creed. A no name fighter from the streets of Philadelphia trains and trains even though everyone around him says he won't be able to do it. This shot is from the end of the training montage, he is climbing up the stairs at the Philadelphia Museum of Art alone while on a run. It is moving to me because in the sports world you really do have to climb to the mountain top by yourself, even if its a team sport you must put in the work and no one else can dictate your effort. Rocky eventually ends up losing his fight but he goes the distance, which many people could not believe, the pride and dedication he puts in is inspirational to all.

You can't not love this scene, as a kid I remember seeing this and not being able to sleep because I was finding every way to feel like rocky. I was punching pillows running up snowy hills and attempting to drink raw eggs. Rocky had a huge impact on me and many other people, still to this day when the rocky theme comes on my hands go up and I feel like I can conquer the world.
