Jordan Peele's Get Out is a modern day horror story that tackles the issue of racism.  The film follows Chris going to visit his girlfriend's family for the first time.  Chris is off put by the family, but more importantly by the "workers" on the property, a black man and woman who just don't seem to be right.  As the film goes on there is a party where there are very many remarks made towards Chris which drives him to go shoot some photos in the woods where the party eventually hosts a silent auction to buy Chris to take his body.  The film uses mystery of what is actually going on to build the suspense throughout and occasional comedic breaks to lighten up the film just enough.  The performance by Daniel Kaluuya conveys the fear and confusion that we experience while watching the film and the eventual revenge at the end of the film.  This film was excellent, I had seen a Peele film before in Us, but I enjoyed this film much more because it made my mind wonder and got me even more invested.
